Angela Carrasco was born in Acarigua, Venezuela. At 17, challenged by her mother’s ambition, she learned English in six months to be admitted to university in the U.S. In her journey to learn the language, she fell in love with audiobooks—especially those narrated by their authors. Within a year, she read more than 100 biographies that inspired her to follow a life of discomfort and authenticity.
Today, as a keynote speaker, she focuses on helping others confront discomfort and embrace failure highlighting it is only there where true growth happens. From personal stories of failure to The Discomfort Project: 100 days out of the Comfort Zone, her talks are designed to challenge the way we think about discomfort and take us into action.
